Academy Dress Code

Year 10 and 11 Dress Code

Dress code 2

Students in Year 10 and 11 are expected to wear:

  • A black or white shirt
  • Black trousers* or a pleated black skirt at knee length
  • Black leather or leather look shoes

*Black trousers, formal/regular, straight leg must be worn on the waist. No leggings, jeggings or jeans are allowed. No zipped pockets, denim style or stretch material allowed.

Students can choose to wear:

  • A black with no logos
  • The black branded STEM sweatshirt
  • The long sleeve STEM branded quarter zip PE top (no other quarter zip tops will be allowed)
  • A black blazer
  • A tie of their choice

Students should remove any outdoor clothing (coats, hoodies) once they are in reception.

 

Jewellery and Make Up

  • No more than two studs in each ear
  • No other facial piercings (clear nose studs can be worn)
  • Subtle, natural make up can be worn
  • No false eyelashes
  • No fake nails due to risk of injury in workshop environments. Nail varnish can be worn
  • Students with long hair must have a hairband to tie hair up

 

PE Dress Code

On PE days, students in Year 10 and 11 are expected to wear:

  • The STEM branded short sleeve PE top
  • Stem branded PE shorts, or plain black PE shorts
  • Trainers

On PE days, students can choose to wear:

  • Full length STEM branded trousers
  • The Long Sleeve STEM branded quarter zip PE top
  • Long Purple PE socks
