Sponsorship Pledge

The industrial sponsors of BMAT STEM Academy (GlaxoSmithKline, Princess Alexandra NHS Trust and Pearson) are actively involved in the running of the Academy.

They sit on the Local Advisory Board, which holds the Senior Leadership Team to account for the progress and attainment of students.

They undertake monitoring visits, where they observe lessons to ensure quality of teaching.

They deliver curriculum enrichment activities so students can see how what they learn in the classroom relates to what scientists and engineers do in industry and the NHS.

They provide work experience opportunities.

They also deliver careers talks and interview skills workshops to students, so students get the very best chance to excel in their future careers.
