This course is designed to develop and extend your mathematical knowledge and skills. These include the skill of working with mathematical information, as well as the ability to think logically and independently, consider accuracy, model situations mathematically, analyse results and reflect on findings. You can study it alongside or after taking A Level Mathematics.

Further Mechanics

Momentum and Impulse, Work, Energy and Power, Elastic Strings and Springs, Elastic Energy, Elastic Collisions in one and two dimensions

Decision Mathematics

Algorithms and Graph Theory, Algorithms on Graphs and Networks, critical Path Analysis, linear Programming
