STEM Academy Welcomes Healthcare Professionals for NHS Dementia Conference
Posted: 18th November 2025STEM Academy was proud to open its doors to more than 100 NHS nurses, doctors, and healthcare specialists for an inspiring and informative conference focused on Dementia care.
Across the day, our visitors engaged in expert led presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, transforming our school into a vibrant hub for professional learning. The event featured informative stalls from organisations including Dementia UK, Blossom Home Care, Viatris, Rainbow Services, and Harlow Dementia Friendly Community, providing powerful insight into support services available for families and carers.
A highlight of the day was seeing our Triple Science students and A-Level scientists take part. They attended sessions and demonstrated curiosity about the science and healthcare principles at the heart of dementia treatment and support.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students represented the school, they were a true credit to STEM Academy.
Hosting the NHS conference was a privilege and a wonderful opportunity to connect our learners with real world science, medicine and community impact. We look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships that inspire the next generation of scientists, health professionals, and innovators.
