Hello Year 10s,
All new work posted for each subject area under 'GCSE' is for Year 10s only.
Year 11s and future sixth formers, you should start to looking at work uploaded under 'Sixth Form'. That site will be updated shortly with specific A level tasks to complete.
Year 10s, please use the following link to select your options for year 11: Year 11 Option Choices. You can find information about the course by clicking on the subject. There is a file there with the subject's name followed by 'GCSE Information'. Remember, the two option choices you select must be different from what you took in year 10.
We will be providing e-learning work in this area of our website every Monday by midday. All activities, worksheets, instructions, etc. will start with ‘wb’ which stands for ‘week beginning’ followed by the Monday’s date so you know what work is to be complete for that week. In addition to your subject's weekly assignments you should also be completing the tasks left for you each week under careers.
As stated by Ofqual you will get a GCSE grade for the options subjects you chose this year. As a result of this information you should no longer be doing work for those option subjects as it will not count towards your grade. Instead, take the time to direct your focus on your core subjects: English, Maths and Science.
It is the expectation that each of you complete the work provided every week and submit it to your teacher. If you are experience technical issues, you must contact a staff member indicating so as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, you may contact a teacher directly. Don’t forget, e-mails sent to us must come from your school e-mail account. We will do our best to respond to you in a timely manner. Teacher e-mails are below:
In completing these home learning activities, do make sure to create and stick to a routine that includes getting up at a reasonable time, eating healthily and being active.
